Obamacare by mandate, providing Medicare Advantage and Medicaid to uninsured Americans as an entitlement for the poor will enrich insurance companies and Big Pharma and bankrupt our economy.

Public health physicians and agencies may be the most important and, at the same time most unappreciated and underfunded people and functions in our economy. These folks and the work they do is not valued when they are effective. When there is a break down in the system, usually due to underfunding or incompetent management by political appointees, there is hell to pay.
