MCW / Marquette Medical Alumni Association article “No place like home” summer 2010:
An article by Sarah Lyall in the July 25, 2010 New York Times titled, “Britain Plans to Decentralize National Health Care” presents a planned change of policy for their National Health Service to move toward a modified version of PCMH. The plan described in this article also mimics my practice as a Maxicare capitated primary care gatekeeper during 1984 and 1985. A complete description of the financial and medical practice realities of this model are presented in my book, “Creative Design for Health Care Reform.”
